From the Bush To The Altar: City Edition - Sunday Oct 18th @11am
Take your conjure into the city and learn to work with the living world where you already walk. This hands-on urban foraging workshop teaches practical plant identification, ethical harvest in built environments, and methods for recognizing and relating to nature spirits in urban landscapes. In guided field sessions you’ll:
Identify common wild and useful plants found in sidewalks, parks, vacant lots, and community gardens
Practice low-impact, lawful harvest techniques and plant stewardship appropriate to public and shared spaces
Read urban land signals — soil, water flow, microhabitats, and human influence — to find pockets of plant abundance
Use grounded exercises and live demonstrations to integrate plant medicine, spirit communication, and bush-conjure methods into everyday urban practice
Designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this workshop offers immersive practice and practical tools to deepen your relationship with the more-than-human world right where you live.
