LATOYA THURMAN

LaToya Thurman, RM, WMA, is a crystal Reiki master, educator, holistic health practitioner, author, and spiritual medium. She’s also the creative force behind Cymbee’s Conjure Shop, a botanica rooted in ancestral wisdom and liberation. LaToya first recognized her gifts as a child, and by 2012 she had fully stepped away from the traditional workforce to dedicate her life to the healing arts.
Her path has been shaped by studies in crystal science, yoga, meditation, energy healing, and metaphysics, along with lineage-based initiations that deepen her practice. With expertise in crystals, divination, and mediumship, LaToya blends teaching and healing to help others reclaim wellness and spiritual sovereignty.
She believes every person deserves a life of wholeness and empowerment. Whether guiding students through ancestor reverence, tarot, or Reiki certification, her purpose is clear: to support people in discovering their fullest selves and creating the lives they’re meant to live.
LaToya currently resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband, Rev. Shawn Wells Goldman, where she continues to teach, write, and expand her mission of liberation through spirituality.

Education
My journey as a spiritualist began back in 2010, when I committed to an intense practice of self-healing. By 2014, that personal work naturally expanded into serving others, and I started working with clients on their own wellness paths. Over the years, I’ve supported thousands of people, but I kept asking myself: How can I help them go deeper? How can I make sure they’re truly living in their power?
The answer came through my ancestors in 2017: my role isn’t just to heal—it’s to teach. Healing is important, but teaching gives people the tools to carry their liberation forward. Whether it’s guiding someone through a reiki session or showing them how to channel energy themselves, my purpose is to help others cultivate their fullest potential.
That’s why I created Therapeutic Vibrations LLC. It’s more than a business—it’s a school, a community, and a movement. We offer classes, workshops, and certifications in metaphysics, and I’m proud to say we’re the only accredited African-American, woman-led metaphysical school in the world. For me, it’s about sovereignty, empowerment, and making sure the wisdom we share ripples out far beyond the altar.
