The Trader’s Market is a monthly event where the community can gather and trade goods. The concept came from two ideas, first to curate a space where growers, such as farmers and gardeners, can redistribute their excess harvest. Our secondary purpose is to open accessibility to a variety of local resources. If you are a gardener, farmer, baker, herbalist, canner, or anyone that produces and has an abundance of product come trade! We are specifically looking for the following (however all homemade goods are welcome):
fresh herbs and plants
produce
homemade goods (oils, tinctures, teas, canned or jarred foods, soap, baked goods, etc)
farm harvest (eggs, grains, dairy, seeds, honey, etc.)
A few market guidelines..
This is a trade and barter only market, meaning no money is to be exchanged. This is to open accessibility and foster an alternative method of distributing resources amongst the community.
Items, whether grown or made, must be produced by you.
Event is every 2nd Wednesday from June through October. Event is held outside and can be subject to cancelation in the case of inclement weather. Event is from 3pm-7pm, set-up begins at 2:30pm.
Participants may choose one of the following set-up options 1) one table and two chairs 2) one 10x10 size tent 3) no set-up, just you and a basket of your goods.
There is no cost to attend or participate, however we welcome donations. Donations can be sent via zelle to therapeuticvibrations@mail.com
